Online Backup
Poynter has partnered with Acronis to supply a cloud-based backup solution.
Instead of having to change and store tapes or USB drives offsite, the server backup is securely transmitted to hosted storage space in the cloud. The backup is sent nightly over your broadband connection and remains encrypted (AES-256) until needed to carry out a restore.
As well as backing up servers and desktops, the system fully integrates into virtualised environments – including VMware and Hyper-V.
This service is available to businesses and educational establishments; initial seeding and large scale restore options are also available.
